Manic Focus
Manic Focus
Manic Focus is the beat-bumpin' project of John "JmaC" McCarten, a Chicago-based electronic music producer hailing from the Twin Cities. A multi-dimensional artist with a rowdy style unbound to any one genre, Manic Focus transcends sound waves by fusing soulful blues with heavy-hitting bass, creating a resonating tone that's entirely his own.

JmaC's grooves run deep in a diverse array of musical influence, rooted in early classical piano training and a ruthless cultivation of hypnotic, hip-hop infused electro-soul bangers. His sound first emerged on the scene in 2011 with the independent release of Definition of the Rhythm, followed by Expanding Mind in 2012 and Distant Perspective in 2013, all of which he distributed to the masses online, free of charge. Since then, he's toured extensively with Big Gigantic, GRiZ, Paper Diamond, Minnesota, Break Science and many more.

His fourth album, Cerebral Eclipse, debuted on GRiZ's label All Good Records in October of 2014. Featuring Dominic Lalli (Big Gigantic), GRiZ, Michal Menert (Pretty Lights Music, Super Best Records) and many more, the release incorporates more live instrumentation than ever before. He's also started two side projects with Pretty Lights Music veterans Break Science (Manic Science) and Michal Menert (Manic Menert).

As an artist, JmaC continues to build momentum and perfect his craft with every show. Always seeking new ways to experiment with multiple genres and future-bass concoctions, you can bet this beat magician will bring the heat to any performance.

Whether it's a small-town venue or a world-renowned music festival, you won't want to miss a Manic Focus throw-down.
Bass Physics
Bass Physics
Bass Physics is an upcoming electronic group bled from the heart of America's electronic music scene: Denver, Colorado. The coalition of A.P. Adair and Luke Sims began when they met in music tech lab at Cherry Creek High School in 2010. In May of 2012, after coming home from Iowa State for summer break, Sims came to Adair with what is now "loco" a track to be featured on their debut album.

In the few months since the group has ben formed, Bass Physics has been creating quite a stir in the local electronic scene. With four shows under their belt, and more booked Bass Physics is soon to be a readily recognized name. Playing in venues like Cervantes Masterpeice Ballroom, the Aggie Theater, and Western State University, they have been undaunted in their goal to spread positive vibes to their audience', creating an already impressive fan base.

Their music is a mashup of different sounds including hip-hop and down-tempo grove-step, but they are described as "electronic-soul". Bass Physics has built quite an impressive repertoire already, opening for wel-established national touring acts such as; Zion I, Minnesota, Diego's Umbrella, and will soon open up for the likes of Watsky, Radical Something, and many more. With an album release on the way, this is definitely an exciting time to learn about Bass Physics.
Blunt Force
Blunt Force
Blunt Force is the musical vision of Austin, Texas locals Brian Gustafson & Deniz Baykal. Mixing elements of funk, hip-hop, dubstep, and livetronica, Blunt Force has quickly gained notoriety throughout the scene with their unique blend of styles.

Heavily influenced by the rise of sample-driven electronic music, Gustafson sought to add his own touch to this newly emerging genre. After moving to Austin, Texas in 2011 to attend St. Edward’s University, Gustafson began producing music out of his freshman dorm room. Gustafson strived to create a unique style of his own by blending sample-based productions with rhythmic guitar riffs.

Blunt Force began performing live in the fall of 2012. With the addition of live guitar in his sets, he began to stir up quite the buzz around the Austin scene. After playing extensively in Austin, Gustafson slowed down in 2013 to focus more on his productions. This resulted in the release of his first EP, “A Brighter Tomorrow”, in February of 2014. Soon after, Gustafson paired up with producer and drummer, Deniz Baykal, whom he had met while attending St. Edward’s University. Deniz’s drumming brought even more of a live dynamic to the already high energy Blunt Force live set. The two debuted the new live show at Euphoria Music Festival in April of 2014, and continued performing in cities close to home in order to finish college.

In January 2016, just one month after finishing college, not only did the duo embark on their first North American tour, hitting 20 cities across the west, southwest, and southeast regions of the United States, but they began producing music together for the first time. This tour served to “showcase” the new style of production and live set that fans could expect to hear from Blunt Force starting in 2016. As Deniz was geared towards producing heavier electronic music, it was inevitable that their new music as a duo would see an evolution. The new sound they’ve carved is a perfect blend of Gustafson’s old-fashion sampling techniques with Deniz’s heavy sound and drum design, which is perfectly represented with their newest single, ‘Dreamer,’ featuring Dallas-based rapper, Jay Fresh. The two have already seen great success in 2016, experiencing a steady growth of fans and listeners across the country.

Blunt Force has shared the stage with acts such as: Savoy, The Floozies, Big Wild, Opiuo Live Band, Michal Menert, Kill Paris, Sunsquabi, Late Night Radio, Dopapod, Robotic Pirate Monkey, Freddy Todd, DrFameus (Allen of the Disco Biscuits), Orchard Lounge, Mord Fustang, Paul Basic, TAUK, Archnemesis, The Main Squeeze, Filibusta, SuperVision, The Magic Beans + many more. In addition, Blunt Force has racked up performances at some of the most notorious festivals across the U.S. including festivals such as : Euphoria Music Festival, Wakarusa Music Festival, Summer Camp Music Festival, Sonic Bloom Music Festival’s fall festival, Sonic Blossom, Art Outside Music & Arts Festival, Head for the Hills Music & Arts Festival, and UtopiaFest.

Gustafson teamed up with Denver producer, Kinetik Groove, in mid 2014 to form a live instrumentation and glitch-hop side-project, which the two called Kinetik Force. Kinetik Force released their first EP titled “Fusion” in December of 2014. Soon after, the two unleashed "Fusion - The Remixes" in April of 2015 featuring remixes from artists such as Vibe Street, Orphic, Fractal Sky, and The Digital Connection.
Blue Future
Blue Future
WHEN WE LISTEN TO MUSIC WE ESCAPE TO A PLACE WHERE WE ARE WHO WE WANT TO BE.

WE GO THROUGH MOST OF OUR LIVES NOT GETTING TO BE OURSELVES, WE HAVE TO WORK MOST OF OUR TIME AWAY, OR GO TO CLASSES, WORRY ABOUT NOT HAVING ENOUGH MONEY, DEAL WITH ENDLESS AMOUNTS OF STRUGGLE, AND SPEND ALMOST EVERY DAY DOING THINGS THAT WE DON'T WANT TO DO JUST TO BE ABLE TO GET BY AND LIVE NORMAL LIVES IN OUR SOCIETY.

WHEN WE LISTEN TO OUR MUSIC WE ARE ESCAPING FROM THIS, AND IN A WAY GOING TO A PLACE THAT IS MORE TRUE TO WHO WE ARE ON THE INSIDE, AND NOT THE FAKE SHELL THAT WE NEED TO PUT ON EVERYDAY JUST TO OPERATE AT OUR JOBS AND IN OUR SCHOOLS. OUR MUSIC IS MORE OF WHO WE ACTUALLY WANT TO BE.

I KNOW SOME OF YOUR MIGHT HAVE THOUGHT SOMETHING SIMILAR AT SOME POINT. AND I HOPE THAT MY MUSIC CAN BE SOMETHING IN YOUR LIFE THAT HELPS YOU FEEL MORE LIKE YOURSELF.

ALL OF MY MUSIC IS FREE, YOU CAN DOWNLOAD IT ON SOUNDCLOUD AND SOON RIGHT ON THIS SITE!

ENJOY, AND SPREAD LOVE. - BLUE FUTURE
