His This Never Happened concept became one of dance music's word-of-mouth success stories, and now, Lane 8 aka Daniel Goldstein has provided us with his hugely successful second artist album, Little By Little, on his own This Never Happened label.

Following on from the Little By Little tour earlier in 2018, Lane 8 is back on the road with a number of additional dates.

As always with This Never Happened shows, Lane 8 asks you to leave your phones and cameras alone - and focus on connecting with the music and each other.

Experience The Moment. Don’t Record It. This Never Happened.

Rather than pander to the purists or create music for DJs alone, Daniel Goldstein aka Lane 8 has always tread his own, distinctive path - perhaps best summed up by his phones-free event and label concept This Never Happened.

The concept is a simple one: remove all phones and cameras from the event, get back to connecting with the music and the people around you. And it is one that has been embraced with passion by Lane 8’s dedicated fanbase and the dance community at large with over. Since debuting the concept with a sold out show at San Francisco’s Mezzanine in 2016, Lane 8 has taken the concept to over 60 shows in four different continues - playing to over 50,000 completely connected fans in the process.

In tandem with the events, Daniel’s output on the TNH label has stood out for its integrity and artistry whether on emotional epics like ‘Little Voices’ or upbeat groovers such as ‘With Me’. Always defined by a melodic touch, TNH is the culmination of a steady, assured rise over recent years.

This musical progression continued this year when Lane 8 released his sophomore album ‘Little By Little’ on the TNH imprint. With it he delivered a record that distilled his unique flair for melodic, heart-warming electronics that are both classy and quirky, traversing reflective electronica, instrumental club epics and leftfield pop moments alike.

Representing the full arc of Lane 8’s melodic, uniquely crafted sound, the LP teamed with vocal features from Poliça, Australia’s Fractures, J.F. July and Patrick Baker - receiving rave reviews everywhere from Mixmag, DJ Mag and KCRW as a result.

Following its release, Lane 8 embarked on a 37 date global tour which included sell out shows at Brooklyn Steel in New York, The Warfield Theatre in San Francisco, The Novo in LA, Melkweg in Amsterdam and Phonox in London.
Enamour
Enamour
As a curator of dark, infectious grooves and wistful atmospheres, Enamour has developed a sound that delicately walks the line between deep introspection and pure club play. His sets are an intricate blend of deep, progressive, tech house and techno that values musicality over anything else.

With just a few official releases under his belt on labels including Deadmau5’s ‘mau5trap’ imprint and Lane 8’s ‘This Never Happened’ imprint, Enamour has already caught the attention of promoters across North America, playing all along the east coast. With his home base in DC, he held a residency with Glow Washington D.C. at Soundcheck and Echostage (voted #1 Club in America by DJ Mag), and is frequently called upon for direct support at other renowned clubs such as U Street Music Hall and Flash. In his time at these clubs, he’s supported some of the top names in dance music, including Eric Prydz (twice), Hot Since 82, Cristoph, Giorgio Moroder, Yotto, and more.

Enamour was also selected by Lane 8 to support him in five cities of his Little By Little tour in early 2018 and was asked to remix “Skin & Bones” off of Lane 8’s sophomore album. The remix, which stayed in the Top 100 Beatport Deep House chart for nearly two months peaking at #20, also garnered vast support from a wide ranging set of DJs, including Above & Beyond, Hardwell, Cosmic Gate, and Nora En Pure. He then had two tracks featured on Lane 8’s ‘Root to Branch Vol. 2’ compilation in May. To top it all off, another two of Enamour’s forthcoming tracks were featured in Lane 8’s Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1.

In addition to those sought after IDs, Enamour has dozens of unreleased songs which are the highlight of each of his sets, including a forthcoming EP with Sascha Braemer’s label WHATIPLAY, out July 20th. With all of this new music on the horizon, it is clear that 2018 is looking to be a breakout year for the young DJ.
